Photography can take you places that you never thought of and help you meet people you would have never imagined, meeting. Two of my biggest shoots in life, till date, are with Steve Waugh and M.C. Mary Kom. The experience was so beautiful and these shoots will always be one of the biggest achievements of my life.

I have been that student in school who hated the people who used to flaunt their DSLRs just to show off as a status symbol. I was not at all fond of that image and my younger self thought that photography is all about that. My perception changed when I went to college and photography was a part of my curriculum. I developed a positive relationship with it. Soon enough, I started enjoying the process of photography and learnt as much as I could. My interest grew so much that I finally decided to buy a DSLR camera. Since then, I started exploring different genres of photography and I think I made the right choice.

I started going on photo walks and developed an interest in street and travel as it allowed me to work independently without any boundation of clients. It provided a rawness, that I look for, in a picture. It helped me a lot to explore but eventually, I developed this new love for Fashion photography. It gives me so much on the creative part and also lets me play with lights and try different things.

I am currently pursuing Filmmaking from Canada. Moving to a different country allows me to see street photography from a different perspective. Understanding a different culture has been a learning on its own.

Photographs are a way to express stories but films are a medium to express anything and everything, your way. I have been pursuing filmmaking to convey my stories through motion pictures and doing my best every day to be a good cinematographer, some day.

I feel one should enjoy every shot of theirs as much as they can because we all enjoy the process of creating something through our lens. This joy of creation won’t ever let you doubt your decision for choosing this field as a career.
